Date: 03/13/2025 Time: 09:17 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Borough
Type of Incident: Fraud 
Investigating Officer: Paul Alvaro 

Details: On March 13, 2025 Officer Alvaro met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim stated that an unknown party placed an order for racing equipment using his identity. He went on to explain that he received an email from Summit Racing Equipment with confirmation for an order of $99 and another for $162. The orders were not placed by the victim, and ultimately were able to be cancelled before any monetary loss was incurred. The victim suspects that their identity has been compromised and they were advised to continue to monitor their accounts and credit reports for any suspicious activity.

Type of Incident: Fraud 
Investigating: Michael Crincoli 

Details: On March 16, 2025 Officer Crincoli met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that numerous online accounts were compromised. The victim stated that they received notification of suspicious logins on their Email, Netflix, and Linkedin accounts. The victim was advised on precautions and proactive monitoring guidance going forward. At this time there was no financial loss incurred by the victim.

Date: 03/10/2025 Time: 07:12 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Theft / Criminal Mischief 
Investigating Officer: Maria Gavdanovich 

Details: On March 10, 2025 Officer Gavdanovich responded to the construction site on Samuel Peterson Drive for a report of Criminal Mischief and Theft. Construction management on site reported that a generator was stolen from the site. Additionally, a portable band saw, Dewalt Batteries, Drills, and other tools were also stolen from the site. The incident took place between 3/7 and 3/10. The incident was forwarded to the Detective Bureau for follow up investigation.

Date: 03/10/2025 Time: 1:08 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Theft 
Investigating Officer: James Stanton 

Details: On March 10, 2025 Officer Stanton responded to St Georges Church on River Road for a reported theft of copper. Church management reported that between 3/7 and 3/10 they had a copper theft on the property. A building on the property is under demolition and construction where the copper was taken. A dollar amount for the loss is still being tallied. The incident is under investigation.

Date: 03/10/2025 Time: 2:51 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Criminal Mischief, Burglary 
Investigating Officer: Vincent Amabile 

Details: On March 10, 2025 Officer Amabile responded to Mercer Meadows on Blackwell Road for a reported vehicle burglary. The victim reported that they left their vehicle parked in the lot at 2:00PM and when she came back at 2:51PM the passenger side rear window was smashed and her handbag containing keys to the car, cash, and her cell phone were stolen from inside the vehicle. The total amount lost during the incident was estimated as $1,000. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Type of Incident: Traffic Stop / Warrant Arrest 
Accused Name: Tamara Hazel 
Accused Address: Asbury St Trenton, NJ 08611 
Investigating / Arresting Officer: Mark Panzano 
Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On March 13, 2025 at 11:42 PM Sgt Panzano made contact with NJSP at HTPD who had a female in custody on an active warrant out of Hopewell Township which was found during a traffic stop. The female, identified as Tamara Hazel, was turned over to the custody of HTPD for the active warrant. Hazel was processed for the warrant, but ultimately released from custody pending a new court date. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Date: 03/13/2025 Time: 11:28 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Stolen Vehicle 
Investigating Officer: Arthur Juba 

Details: On March 13, 2025 at 11:28 hours, Officer Juba responded to a Flower Hill Drive address for a report of a stolen vehicle. The Hona Accord was stolen from the driveway between 9:00AM on 3/12 and 11:30AM on 3/13. Further details are being withheld due to the active investigation. Details will be released at a later date. 


Item 8 

Date: 03/15/2025 Time: 9:57 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Warrant Arrest 
Accused Name: Scardy Dominique 
Accused Address: Thurston Ave Trenton, NJ 08618 
Investigating Officer: James Stanton 

Details: On March 15, 2025 Officer Stanton conducted a motor vehicle stop on a silver Infiniti on Route 29 near Valley Road. The driver, identified as Scardy Dominique, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest our of Bordentown Police Department. Dominique was asked to step from his vehicle and was arrested on scene. He was transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released on his own recognizance with a new court date. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Date: 03/15/2025 Time: 11:45 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Fraud 
Investigating Officer: James Stanton 

Details: On March 13, 2025 Officer Stanton met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim stated that they were out of the country for vacation and when they returned home on March 14, 2025 they found fraudulent charges on their credit card account. The bank was notified by the victim, and fortunately, no financial loss was incurred. The victim was advised to continue to monitor their accounts and credit report. Nothing further at this time.

Date: 03/19/2025 Time: 2:48 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Traffic Stop / Warrant Arrest 
Accused Name: Shadia Watrud 
Accused Address: Euclid Ave Trenton, NJ 08609 
Investigating / Arresting Officer: James Stanton 
Charges: Contempt of Court 

Details: On March 19, 2025 Officer Stanton conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Black Nissan SUV on Route 579 near Pleasant Valley Road. The driver, identified as Shadia Watrud, was found to have an active NCIC warrant for her arrest out of Pennsylvania. Watrud was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. After processing, she was transported and turned over to Mercer County Correctional Cener in default. The matter will be heard in Superior Court. 


Item 11 

Date: 03/22/2025 Time: 03:02 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township 
Type of Incident: Theft 
Investigating Officer: Ryan Finnegan 

Details: On March 22, 2025 Officer responded to a Washington Crossing Pennington Road address for a report vehicle burglary and theft. The victim reported witnessing a male subject approach the property, enter their vehicle, and take $600 in cash from the car. The Officers arrived shortly after the suspect left the scene. However, the incident was captured on video. The investigation is active and ongoing
