Item 1

Date: 4/11/2025 Time: 7:51 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Borough
Type of Incident: DUI
Accused Name: Leo Capoferri
Accused Address: Princeton Ave Hopewell, NJ 08525
Investigating Officer: Mandy Grey

Details: On April 11, 2025 Officer Grey responded to Hopewell House Wine and Liquor Express for a report of an intoxicated subject who came into the store, but was now in his vehicle. Concerned over the subject’s alleged intoxication, the caller was concerned they would drive away. Officer Grey arrived and made contact with the subject, identified as Leo Capoferri. Upon contact, due to visible signs of intoxication, Capoferri was asked to step from his vehicle to perform field sobriety testing. At the completion of testing, Capoferri was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to HTPD for processing. Capoferri was ultimately charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Open Container, and Failure to install Interlock device. He was released after processing. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Accused Name: Kevin McGettigan
Accused Address: Oxford Valley Rd Yardley, PA 19067
Investigating / Arresting Officer: James Klesney
Charges: Harassment

Details: On April 9, 2025 Officer Klesney met with the victim of harassment at their residence. The victim explained that they previously reported a male harassed the victim online and showed up at their residence in a threatening manner. This incident took place initially in January. HTPD had followed up on the incident and made notification to that party not to have any contact with the victim going forward. The victim now stated that they were contacted by the subject via text message. Saved imaged were shared with the officer showing the messages and contact was again made with the accused subject, identified as Kevin McGettigan. McGettigan was advised of what was reported and admitted to the messages sent. He was ultimately charged with harassment for the offense.
The subject has not been arrested to date, but has been charged. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Investigating Officer: Mark Panzano

Details: On April 10, 2025 at 8:05 PM Officers responded to the Stop&Shop on Denow Rd for a reported shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, the suspect vehicle had fled. Officer conducted a canvass search and relayed the vehicle information to surrounding jurisdictions. Shortly thereafter, Ewing Township Police advised that they had the vehicle stopped on North Olden Avenue. Hopewell Twp Officers responded and made identification of the suspects, who were arrested on scene. The suspects were identified as Lucilia Rodriguez and Reymin Betances-Rodriguez of Trenton. Both suspects were transported to HTPD for processing. The total amount of stolen items was reported as $1,112.88. Both subjects were charged with Shoplifting. Lucilia Rodriguez was summonsed and released. However, Reymin Betances-Rodriguez was ultimately transported to Mercer County Correctional Center after an active NCIC warrant was found for his arrest out of Mercer County. The matters will be heard in Superior Court.

Accused Name: Roberto Floresvivaldo
Accused Address: Hazelhurst St New Brunswick, NJ 08901
Investigating Officer: George Peterson
Charges: Contempt of Court

Details: On April 12, 2025 Officer Peterson conducted a motor vehicle stop on a box truck on Route 579 (4 ton weight limit). Officer Peterson approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Roberto Floresvivaldo. After collecting his identification, he was found to be driving with a suspended license and has an active warrant for his arrest out of West Long Branch. He was arrested on scene and
transported to HTPD for processing. Roberto was later released after West Long Branch provided him with a new court date. Roberto was issued summonses for Driving while suspended, failure to obey traffic signs, and truck route violation. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Date: 4/11/2025 Time: 10:00 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: Identity Theft / Fraud
Investigating Officer: Blake DeMeter

Details: On April 11, 2025 Officer DeMeter met with the victim of identity theft in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that they recently returned home from vacation and received a letter in the mail form Coldwell Banker Realty out of Princeton, NJ. The letter advised that the victim’s property was listed for sale an individual claiming to be the victim. Coldwell Banker Realty advised that the subject was unable to provide proof of identity so the listing was ultimately removed. They also received a call from a person who expressed interest in purchasing the victim’s property. The Coldwell Banker Realty realized that this was a scam, and ceased any further action with the subject. As of this time, no monetary loss has been incurred by the victim. Nothing further at this time.

Date: 4/15/2025 Time: 8:47 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: Fraud / Theft
Investigating Officer: Neil Hunt

Details: On April 15, 2025 Officer Hunt met with the victim of fraud / theft in the HTPD lobby. The victim advised that she received a call from what she though was Bank of America advising her of “fraud” on her account. They detailed that the bank branch may be involved and advised her to remove $9,000 from her savings account and deposit it
into her checking account through an ATM using a pin provided by the unidentified party on the phone. After making the deposit, the victim found further fraudulent activity on her account for purchases as department stores. In total the victim is at a loss for $10,000 at this time. The incident is under investigation.

Date: 4/17/2025 Time: 10:23 PM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: Warrant Arrest / CDS Arrest
Accused Name: Louis OrtegaAngeles
Investigating Officer: James Stanton

Details: On April 17, 2025 Officer Stanton conducted a motor vehicle stop on a white Kia Forte on Route 31 near Mine Road. The driver, once stopped, was found to be suspended and had an active NCIC warrant for his arrest out of Georgia for Vehicular Homicide. The driver, identified as Louis OrtegaAngeles, was ordered from the vehicle an arrested on scene. Suspected CDS (pills) were found in plain view as well in the vehicle. He was then transported to HTPD for processing. Louis was charged with Contempt, Possession of Prescription Legend Drug and Possession of certain prescription drugs. He was also issued a summons for driving while suspended. OrtegaAngeles was later transported to Mercer County Corrections Center. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On April 21, 2025 Officer Kuzma conducted a motor vehicle stop on a black BMW on Route 579 near Church Road. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Ilia Shiolashvili. Shiolashvili was asked to step from the vehicle due to suspicion of intoxication. Field sobriety tests were conducted roadside. After completion, she was placed under arrest and transported to HTPD for processing. She was later served with summonsed for DUI, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and No Liability Insurance. Shiolashvili was later released from custody. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Date: 4/16/2025 Time: 8:45 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: CDS Arrest
Accused Name: Joseph Bodnar
Accused Address: Harbourton Rocktown Road Lambertville, NJ 08530
Investigating Officer: Blake DeMeter

Details: On April 16, 2025 Officer DeMeter conducted a motor vehicle stop on Denow Road on a Grey Toyota Tundra. The driver was found to be in possession of suspected narcotics Cocaine and Paraphernalia. Ultimately, the driver who was identified as Joseph Bodnar was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released from custody. Bodnar was charged with Possession of CDS, Possession of Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and Eluding. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.
