Details: On 7/15/2025 Officer Pizzola responded to the Stop&Shop and met with loss prevention who stated a subject was seen on surveillance stealing 10 bags of shrimp from the store. The subject is seen entering, taking the items, and leaving the store without payment. Surveillance video was provided to the officer for follow up investigation. The total loss for this incident was reported as $271.

Accused Address: Robbins Ave Ewing, NJ 08638
Charges: Theft
Investigating Officer: George Peterson
Details: On July 19, 2025 Officer Peterson responded to the ShopRite of Pennington for a reported stolen EBike from outside the store. The victim reported that the bike was stolen from outside the ShopRite. The subject who stole the bike was identified on store surveillance. Through Officer Peterson’s on scene investigation, the subject was identified as Michael Bates of Ewing. Bates was arrested on scene and charged with the theft. He was transported to HTPD for processing and later released. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Accused Name: Jessica Galvano
Accused Address: Hollow Rd Skillman NJ 08558
Investigating Officer: James Stanton
Charges: DUI
Details: On July 19, 2025 Officer Stanton responded to the area of Route 654 and Rt 612 for a report of a female driver asleep at the wheel. While enroute to the scene, Officer Stanton made observation of the accused vehicle (a black mini cooper) traveling southbound on Route 31 near Tree Farm Road. Stanton conducted a motor vehicle stop after seeing the vehicle swerving in the roadway. Stanton made contact with the driver, Jessica Galvano. Due to signs of intoxication, field sobriety tests were performed. At the conclusion, Galvano was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Galvano was charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Improper Display of Plates, and Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On July 20, 2025 at 6:37 PM officers responded to the Stop & Shop for a reported shoplifting. The suspects reportedly fled the scene, one on foot and one in a vehicle. The first subject, Derek Greenridge, was identified and apprehended on scene by police. The second subject, identified as Averill Rorrie, was located on West Delaware Avenue near Route 31. He was apprehended at that time. Both subjects were transported to HTPD for processing and later charged with Shoplifting, obstruction, and resisting arrest. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On July 24, 2025 Officer Stanton responded to a Grant Street address for a reported residential burglary. The victim reported that he left the house at approximately 0520 hours and noticed the garage door was opened to the residence. Upon further inspection, the victim found that their vehicles in the garage were entered – the vehicles were not damaged. Other items that were missing were a bicycle, two leaf blowers, and batteries. Detective Vaccarino was detailed to the call and gathered further information regarding the incident. The investigation is active at this time.

Investigating Officer: James Stanton
Details: On July 25, 2025 Officer Stanton conducted a motor vehicle stop on a Route 579 near Pennington Harbourton Road for a traffic violation. Stanton made contact with the driver, identified as Paris Brown of Ewing. Brown was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Union Township for $750. Brown was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. Brown was later released on her own recognizance with a new court date in Union Township. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.
