Details: On 8/12/2025 Officer Pizzola responded to Washington Crossing Pennington Road for a report of a hitch hiker attempting to flag down motorists. Upon making contact with the individual, identified as Harold Klinger, he was found to have an active warrant out of North Wildwood. Klinger was arrested and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released with a new court date in North Wildwood. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On August 12, 2025 Officer DeMeter responded to Rosedale Park for a reported vehicle burglary. The victim reported being away from their vehicle, which was parked unattended, from 1:30PM to 2:30PM on this date. When the victim returned to the vehicle they found the door ajar. The victim found $20 and his debit card missing from his wallet. No other items were missing form the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

Details: On August 17, 2025 Officer Hayes responded to Rosedale Park for a vehicle burglary. The victim left the car parked an unattended between 11:30 AM and 3:38 PM. During that time the vehicle was entered and a number of items were stolen from inside, including four credit cards from the victim’s wallet. The incident is under investigation.

Investigating Officer: Anthony Pizzola
Details: On August 19, 2025 Officer Pizzola responded to Shoprite for a reported theft which took place on June 28, 2025. The matter involved a bad check which was passed by two subjects making a purchase at the store. The total amount was for $501.62.
Information and video regarding the incident was provided to Officer Pizzola. Through follow up investigation, two suspects were identified in the theft – Larry Molder of Trenton and Akosua Awuah of Ewing. The subjects were charged with conspiracy to commit and theft. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On August 22, 2025 Officer Kuzma responded to a River Road address for a report motor vehicle theft. The vehicle was reportedly stolen from the property during the overnight hours. The white Mazda CX5 was unlocked at the time of the theft. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle in NCIC. On august 24th, HTPD was notified by Ewing PD that the vehicle was located by their officers in Ewing Township. The vehicle was ultimately returned to the owner. The matter is still under active investigation.

Investigating Officer: Tylor Blake
Details: On August 24, 2025 Officer Blake conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 31 near Mine Road on a silver Honda CRV. The driver, identified as Owen Hynes, exhibited signs of intoxication. He was asked to step from the vehicle for field sobriety testing. At the completion of which, he was arrested and transported to HTPD for
processing. He was later released from custody, and was issued summons for DUI and Reckless Driving. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court
