Details: On 12/3/2025 Officer Finnegan responded to a Valley Road address for a report of theft of copper from an unoccupied property which was recently purchased by Mercer County. Renovations on the building had started previously. Maintenance employees found approximately 150 feet of copper missing from the property. The theft reportedly took place between 11/26/2025 and 12/2/2025. The case was turned over to Det Makwinski for further investigation.

Type of Incident: Warrant Arrest
Accused Name: Edvin Yol-Davila
Accused Address: Olden Avenue Trenton, NJ 08638
Investigating Officer: James Stanton
Details: On 12/8/2025 Officer Stanton made observation of a vehicle parked illegally in a handicap space with no placard at the recreational fields on Pennington Lawrenceville Rd. Upon contact with the driver, identified as Edvin Yol-Davila, he was found to have an active NCIC warrant for arrest out of Mercer County. Yol-Davila was arrested and transported to HTPD for processing and later turned over to Mercer County Corrections Center. He was also issued a summons for a handicap parking violation. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Type of Incident: Theft
Investigating Officer: Paul Alvaro
Details: On 12/9/2025 Officer Alvaro responded to a Blue Ridge address for a report of a theft. The victim reported that they had a Thule Cargo Box in their driveway for the past few months. On 12/9/2025 between 11:15AM and 3:00PM, the cargo box was stolen from the driveway. The total estimated value was reported as $200. The incident is under investigation.

Type of Incident: Theft
Investigating Officer: Robert Voorhees
Details: On 12/15/2025 Officer Voorhees responded to 2500 Pennington Road for a reported theft of a Skid Steer from the construction site. The Skid Steer was located via GPS in Hillsborough. The skid steer was located by Hillsborough PD and held for Detective Makwinski’s arrival for processing. The skid steer was ultimately returned to the construction company. Further information will be released when available. The investigation is ongoing.
