Type of Incident: Fraud

Details: On October 7, 2024 Officer Gavdanovich met with the victim of Fraud on Cleveland Road. The victim reported they received notification via mail from his company’s HR department stating that a claim with the Dept of Labor was filed fraudulently using his identity. The victim stated that he while checking through his documents at home, he realized his passport was lost / stolen. The last time he recalled having the passport in hand was in August of 2024. The victim was advised to continue to monitor his credit and banking statements going forward. As of this time, no monetary loss was sustained.

Accused Name: Vincent Vandertuyn Jr
Accused Address: Plaza Ct Ewing, NJ 08628
Charges: Theft

Details: On October 13, 2024 Officer Peterson was dispatched to the intersection of Hedgecroft and Chicory for a suspicious vehicle parked with two occupants. Upon contact the driver, Vincent Vandertuyn, was found to be exhibiting physical signs of intoxication. Vandertuyn performed field sobriety tests roadside and was ultimately placed under arrest for DUI. Additionally, multiple arrest warrants were found in Pennington Borough, West Windsor Twp, and Mercer County Sherrif’s Dept for Vandertuyn. He was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later transferred to the custody of Mercer County Sheriff’s Dept. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On October 8, 2024 Officer Crincoli met with the victim of fraud in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that their credit card was used for numerous fraudulent and unauthorized purchased while he was out of the country. Between 9/14 and 9/27 approximately $1200 in purchases were made in North Jersey – all for fuel @ various gas stations. The matter is under investigation.

Details: On October 8, 2024 Officer Enriquez met with the victim of Criminal Mischief in the HTPD lobby. The victim stated that they found a piece of metal in their vehicle’s tire and believed the incident was criminal mischief (not from the roadway). The victim stated that the vehicle was parked at Union Boil Co in Pennington during the evening of October 3, 2024. While in the restaurant, the victim received a notification on her phone stating her vehicle’s tire pressure was low. When she looked at the vehicle she found a piece of metal sticking out of the side of the tire. The matter is under investigation.

Details: On October 9, 2024 Officer Klesney conducted a motor vehicle stop on a grey Nissan Cube for a speeding violation on Ingleside Avenue. Upon contact with the driver, Briana Fratanduono, the driver was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Pennsauken Township for $1500. Fratanduono was placed under arrest and transported to HTPD for processing. She was later released on her own recognizance. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Charges: Contempt of Court

Details: On October 12, 2024 Officer Brigham responded to Capital Way to assist West Windsor Police on a follow up incident. The vehicle in question was observed by Officer Brigham in his response and he stopped the vehicle for detainment. Upon making the stop, the driver of the vehicle was identified as Richard Harris. Harris was found to have an NCIC warrant for his arrest out of Mercer County Sheriffs Dept. He was arrested on scene and later turned over to MC Correctional Center lodged in default. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On October 14, 2024 Officer Stanton made a motor vehicle stop on a Chevy Sedan on Route 579 for an NCIC hit on the license plate of the vehicle. Upon contact with the driver, Lindsey Hadley, the warrant was found to be active for her arrest out of Mercer County Sheriffs Dept. Hadley was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. She was later transported and turned over to MC Correctional Center in default. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On October 20, 2024 Officer Voorhees responded to Trenton Harbourton Road / Woosamonsa Road for a report motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officers responded to emergency needs on scene for all occupants and began the investigation of the crash. One of the drivers, identified as Doreen Mayer, was found to be under the influence at the time of the crash. Mayer was placed under arrest and charged with Assault by Auto, DUI, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Failure to Possess Drivers License / Reg / Insurance, and Failure to Inspection. She was later released. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Details: On October 20, 2024 Officer DeMeter responded to Denow Road for a reported MV Crash and the striking vehicle was said to be fleeing. He made observation of the fleeing vehicle while enroute to the crash and conducted a motor vehicle stop. The driver, Jasneet Gandehok, was found to be under the influence at the time. After field sobriety testing on scene, he was arrested and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released from custody. He was charged with DUI and Reckless Driving, along with Leaving the Scene. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.
