Hopewell Township Police Department has contracted with Jobs4Blue for off-duty scheduling. To make arrangements to hire an off-duty police officer for extra duty employment call 877-425-8330. 

All extra duty work must be within the department guidelines and Township ordinance.

Extra duty officer fees are set by Township ordinance. They are:

• Profit fee: $100/hr - 4 hr minimum after 8 consecutive hours rate goes to $120/hr
• Non-profit fee: $95/hr
• Admin fee: $5 per hour per officer
• Vehicle fee: $10 per hour per vehicle

There is a four-hour minimum for extra duty assignments. There is no additional fee for the use of a patrol car.
