Details: On October 24, 2024 Officer Finnegan met with the victim of theft in the HTPD lobby. The victim reported that they ordered an Apple iphone 16 plus online through Xfinity. The victim received the box on October 13th and signed for it. However, when the victim opened the box phone was missing. There was brown tape on the bottom of the box that appeared out of place, as the phone was likely removed prior to or during delivery. The investigation is ongoing.

Details: On October 25, 2024 Officer Alvaro responded to Stop&Shop for a report of shoplifting which occurred on 10/18/2024. Loss prevention reported that a male subject entered the store and stole $388 worth of medications and left the store without payment. The subject was captured on surveillance video and is a known previous offender of the same offense. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Investigating / Arresting Officer: Michael Enriquez
Charges: DUI

Details: On October 26, 2024 at 3:06AM Officer Enriquez stopped a vehicle for speeding on Ingleside Avenue. The black BMW was stopped and Officer Enriquez approached the window to identify the driver – Pamvarsim Berisha. Berisha showed signs of impairment and was asked to perform field sobriety testing on scene. Once completed Berisha was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later released from custody after being charged with DUI, Reckless Driving, Speeding, Failure to have Inspection, Failure to Obey Traffic Signs, and Traffic on Marked Lanes. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court

Details: On October 26, 2024 Officer Stanton responded to a Dublin Road address for a reported stolen political lawn sign. The victim stated they last saw the lawn sign on 10/25 and when they returned to their residence from work on 10/26, the sign was missing. The incident is under investigation, as there was a similar incident noted on our previous press release.

Accused Address: Denow Road Pennington, NJ 08534
Charges: Contempt of Court

Details: On October 12, 2024 Officer Peterson was called to a Denow Road address for an unrelated call. Upon arrival, contact was made with one of the involved parties identified as Bianca Watkins. Watkins was found to have active warrants for her arrest out of Mercer County Sheriffs, City of Trenton, and Township of Hamilton. Watkins was placed under arrest on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. She was later transported to Mercer County Correctional Center in default of bail. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Accused Address: Deer Run Ct Pennington, NJ 08534
Charges: DUI

Details: On October 28, 2024 Officer Klesney responded to the Stop&Shop parking lot for a reported intoxicated party attempting to drive. Officers made contact with the reported intoxicated person, identified as Denise Webber. Due to signs of intoxication, Webber was asked to exit her vehicle and perform field sobriety testing on scene. At the completed of testing, Webber was placed under arrest and transported to HTPD for processing. Webber was charged with DUI and Reckless Driving. She was released from custody after service of summonses. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Details: On October 30, 2024 Officer Amabile was detailed to the HTPD lobby for a walk-in report of theft. The victim reported that money was stolen form his bank account. The victim reported that between October 2 and October 21, multiple debits were placed on his account totaling $34,391.00. The victim did report the incident to his bank who advised him to report the incident to police as well. The investigation is ongoing.

Investigating Officer: Maria Gavdanovich

Details: On October 30, 2024 Officer Gavdanovich responded to Stop & Shop for a reported shoplifting that took place earlier in the day. At approximately 0957 hours, a male party seen on surveillance stealing baby formula and leaving the store without payment. It appears that the male left the scene via bus on Pennington Road. The total value stolen was $135.96. The investigation is ongoing.
