Date: 12/2/2024 Time: 10:15 AM Jurisdiction- Hopewell Borough
Type of Incident: Criminal Mischief
Investigating Officer: Colin Brigham
Details: On December 2, 2024 Officer Brigham responded to a South Greenwood address for a reported criminal mischief. The victim reported that a well house on the property was damaged between 11/26 and 11/27. The well house had broken windows. There were rocks found as well, which may have been thrown at the well house causing the damage. The incident is under investigation.

Date: 12/3/2024 Time: 7:34 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: Ordinance Violation / Illegal Dumping
Investigating Officer: Michael Enriquez
Details: On December 3, 2024 Officer Enriquez responded to the HTPD lobby for a report of illegal dumping. The complainant stated that a subject left a vacuum cleaner on the property of the Hopewell Valley Tennis Center. The subject was seen on surveillance video driving to the property, exiting their vehicle, and removing the vacuum cleaner from their car. The subject then dumped the vacuum cleaner onto the property and subsequently drove away. The subject was identified by the surveillance video and contacted by Officer Enriquez for removal, which the subject refused.
Ultimately, the subject was issued an ordinance violation for illegal dumping on December 11, 2024.

Accused Name: Michael J Martinez
Accused Address: 2nd Street Millville, NJ 08332
Investigating / Arresting Officer: Colin Brigham
Charges: Contempt of Court
Details: On December 3, 2024 Officer Brigham conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lambertville Hopewell Road for a speeding violation. The driver, identified as Michael Martinez, was found to have an active NCIC warrant out of Cumberland County. Martinez was arrested on scene and transported to HTPD for processing. He was later transported to MCCC where he was lodged in default. The matter will be heard in Superior Court.

Date: 12/4/2024 Time: 10:05 AM Jurisdiction – Hopewell Township
Type of Incident: Fire Service Call
Investigating Officer: Mark Panzano
Details: On December 4, 2024 Sgt Panzano and other units were dispatched to Capital Health – Hopewell Campus for a reported dryer fire near the loading dock. Upon arrival, the fire was confirmed to have been extinguished. The investigation on scene determined the fire not to be suspicious in nature. The damage was contained to the dryer itself. There were no injuries reported.

Investigating / Arresting Officer: Marissa McCallum
Charges: DUI, Opened Container, Reckless Driving, Failure to Inspect Vehicle
Details: On December 7, 2024 Officer McCallum responded to Nedsland Ave for a reported suspicious vehicle that was reported to be parked partially in the roadway and was idling. Upon arrival, contact was made with the vehicle and the driver was still inside. The driver, identified as Scott Seabridge, was requested to step from the vehicle as he showed visual signs of impairment. Field sobriety testing was conducted on scene. At the conclusion of which, Seabridge was placed under arrest for DUI. He was transported to HTPD for processing and was later released. The matter will be heard in Municipal Court.

Type of Incident: Theft
Investigating Officer: Ryan Finnegan
Details: On December 9, 2024 Officer Finnegan responded to a Denow Road address for a reported theft. The victim reported that an order containing 2 items was stolen from the vestibule on the property. The packages were ordered form Macy’s and contained 2 items totaling $33.40. Surveillance video was provided to the Officer and follow-up efforts are being made at this time.

Type of Incident: Burglary
Investigating Officer: Jonathan Pauciullo
Details: On December 12, 2024 Officer Pauciullo responded to a Pennington Rocky Hill address for a reported burglary. The victim reported that their barn was broken into by cutting the lock and approximately $3,627 worth of tools were stolen. The incident was believed to have occurred between 3:30 PM 12/11 and 11:00 AM 12/12. The incident is under investigation.
